In 2020, as history was relentlessly unfolding, I drove through all 48 lower states—a solitary witness to a nation unraveling, set against landscapes of breathtaking majesty. Through empty highways and restless cities, I documented a year that still defies understanding: a pandemic that rewrote lives, a nation confronting its soul, and beauty that endured untouched by chaos. At the crossroads, camera in hand, I was there.
